Paul was employed by me to carry out building and electrical works to my Grade 2 listed house - I paid him a deposit and made stage payments up until the time he nearly destroyed my kitchen extension when I cancelled his contract. He was given a specific mix of lime cement to build from and he purchased the wrong lime which meant the walls he built collapsed as he also continued building above the recommended hight for lime mortar. His Builders turned up on a Saturday to build the internal skin, I had to go to the builders merchants to buy the materials and then they built the wall in the incorrect position so I had to have it taken down. I agreed the=at he would repay me the costs of the wall as it collapsed which he failed to do - His electrical skills were poor and below current code. He used the skips I provided to dump his commercial waste into and when I had a court order issued to him he failed to pay. If you have any sense stay away from this man - do not let him change a 13 amp plug!
